Very good 'mood' capture with what seems like a smoke screen. I can imagine the smell and engine roaring looking at this. TFS!

Dear Ms. Gentry:

I just finished reviewing your posted photo.net portfolio of 52 images and conclude that you are enormously gifted.  From start to finish each photograph I viewed was just brilliant work on so many levels.

I wish there was some way to see your biography.  You are a major league talent by any discriminating standard and I would love to know something about your creative background and life as a photographer.

Warm regards,

A very good image. With the blue smoke ,I get a sense of silk and romance despite the fiery red but this is just a perception and does not take away anything from the image's  'brilliance'.

One might only have hoped the elves would have read Mr. Gentry's responses to his being chosen Photographer of the Week not that long ago (THIS PHOTO) and been more prudent in choosing photos of the day. Some things, however, are beyond hope.

I'd rather take the image for what it is, regardless of the past and regardless of gender issues.  I think this is a strong photo of this kind of racing car, in part because of limited light and what can be seen as well as what can't be seen.  The blue-tinted smoke (?) helps a great deal as well.

It's a very strong image, but is it of a real car on a real racing track? That's what I'm trying to figure out as I look at it.

Awesome processing. Do a lot of cars myself, F1 pictures is a bit out of my league, but with this one you managed to frame the dynamics of F! racing just right without getting the 1000 in one image. Well done !
