Self portrait

I was exploring the idea of self portraits taken within my own personal

environment. The idea was to dress the background with the appropriate

clues that might give the viewer some insight to the nature of the person

(me). This is a tight crop of the a wide angle shot. The original wide angle

shot is in my folio under portraits.

Any views or comments (apart from get some plastic surgery) would be

gratefully received, many thanks William

A multitude of hobbies expressed there William beyond the childhood memories, photography, travel, history, cooking, biology and astrophysics .. and a pensive subject crouched over the computer, surely as representative as any studio portrait could ever be.

I have always favoured true to life images which often tell you more about the person than any studio lights could ever do, though admittedly I have always considered Yousuf Karsh's portrait of Winston Churchill an exception, but even that included the tell tale cigar .. : -). An excellent environmental portrait in my view, backstage portraiture at its best,  bravo.

PS.. by the way, if that is a Hornby Dublo train, too small to tell here, if so I had one too .. : -)
