As if Caramelle was keeping watch on the lighthouse and the sun trying

to peek through the heavy cloud cover.Thank you for your comment-Laurent

Laurent,  Is this an image you captured or a painting that you photographed?  It is most interesting.  The dog makes the image.  Also, the light is effective.  I'd like to see the lighthouse be off center, preferably left with the dog on the right as he or she is.  If this were my image, I'd sharpen it more too.  Most interesting image.  Best to you.  Larry

Thank you for viewing and for commenting. This image is indeed about Caramelle.A constant companion in my photo outings, she is mostly all over the place and most of the time in the wrong place. Here, she froze up for abrief moment and I seized the opportunity and framed the scene to include the veiled sun in the corner. On the computer screen, the sun came out much too bright,so with my basic skills,I tweaked the whole picture to get this more dramatic look and then realized that the dog,the light tower and the sun created a perfect diagonal.Had the sun not been in the frame,I agree that offsetting the tower would have enhanced this image;I guess I did loose some sharpness in my PP effort....I missed it.Again, thank you for the observation and appreciation.

Thank you again.Caramelle was very attentive here,as if she spotted something in the low bushes nearby.Good for the photo as she rarely stops.

Merci et salutations amicales-Laurent

Laurent,  Well, Caramelle is a lucky lady, getting to join in on your photo escapades.  I'm a real dog lover.  My rescued border collie, Barclay, would love to play with Caramelle.  Best and woof to you and your canine friend.   Larry

Dog talk...Caramelle is what we call here a Dumped dog;barely six months old,she showed up on our country doorstep just after Christmas some 7 years ago in -20C temperature.Scared, hungry and all,we fed her and after failing to find her owner, she adopted us and has since been a wonderful part of our family .

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
