I think that the technique, lighting, colour are all excellant and really pull you into the shot. I only feel like the hand might be more prominent if it was posed on a delicate skin. Maybe on a very pale skinned womans hip or shoulder. Other than that, beautiful shot.

Unusual image! I'll respectfully disagree with Michael about using a woman as the background for this. The tones and texture of the male chest work wonderfully from an aesthetic standpoint. More importantly it adds to the feeling of torment that the shape of the hand suggests. Very nice work!

 

I do see some spots that need to be cleaned up. A small speck on the wrist just under the thumb, and several spots in the upper left of the frame. The thumb is pointing right at them.
