really lovely - a great display of color, and an amazing specimen captured..the black and white antenna are amazing and in sharp detail...the color in the wing sets it all off....bravo!!

Nicely seen in contrast with bg color, not an easy subject when they fly all the time from flower to flower,I did this better in morning time when is a bit cold.

Radu, you absolutely right, they are very difficult to photograph as they are fleeting around very fast, never still but a moment and they are very small, about one cm. I am sure you noticed the little insect right underneath the left antenna of the moth..he is but a mere couple of mm...hence the title...:-). Thanks also for your advise.

Regards,

Dimitris.

Superb definition with minute detail. The composition is delightful and the colours also. Truly photography at its best, bravo my friend.

Dimitris,  Wow,  such detailed beauty in the flower, the butterfly and the other tiny insect on the tip of the flowering stem. The blurred background with greens and darker yellows are perfect for the colors in the butterfly and flowering stem, but the blue in the wing of the butterfly in the final perfect touch. Excellent capture!!  Best regards,  Sherry
