Waimea Canyon, Kauai
Called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific by Mark Twain. For me, this place just adds another element to an already packed with beauty island. Though is not an easy location to shoot since most of the time it is shrouded in cloud cover. Shadows have been another issue. I have found that shooting this at later in the afternoon when the sun is going down behind me seems to be the most effective time to catch the truly unusual colors out here. Your thoughts and opinions are always appreciated. www.hawaiianphotos.net
