alfbailey 2 Posted April 14, 2013 I like the fact that you have let the foggy scene remain foggy, the cooler shades suit the scene and the barely discernable shapes of the buildings are delightful and give a real sense of depth. There are some unexplained dots and marks that can be seen when viewed large to the right and left of the top of the tree and a few other isolated dots, I thought that maybe it was birds at first, but it could be dust on your sensor?Lovely winter scene! ryourth 0 Posted April 15, 2013 Hi Alf- Glad you like the image, warts & all.Have recently started using my scanner & have obviously a lot to learn. This is scanned from a 50 yr old negative & recalled some marvelous memories.Believe part of the problem is the image is too large . The road to our lakefront property is about 200 yds to the right & as you can see the snow is quite deep & I was huffing & puffing by the time I reached this point ,no tripod so the resulting image was not as sharp as it could be & I have enlarged it beyond the point of reasonable sharpness. It is amazing what we will do to capture an image. I like the image so guess it was worth the effort.. Take Care & Best Wishes-Ross Link to comment
