Lovely shot Ramond, superb composition, and I love the sneakers too .. contrasts work well because they accentuate  the attention given ..

I was wondering why I was attracted to this image so much. Then I got it. It is the shoes. I was working on an old image yesterday and the girl had very similar shoes. I realise I am waffling. This is a nice image. I am wondering if the untiled lace is significant.

As flattering goes, the whole of the image is not very flattering but hopefully it contains a bit of humor in the 'mixed' costume she is wearing.  A Domanetrix with Argyle Socks and men's garters... I Mean! And with those Big Red Shoes, she could walk all over a man... or a woman for that matter. So... Watch It Sister!

That being said... I will redily admit that skin tones are my achiles heel. I do indeed struggle with skin tones. I've read, I've picked brains, I continue to struggle with skin tones, the bane of my existance... I'm thinking that too yellow is better than too red, my other extreme. I never seem to get it just right. O My :=}

Love the shoes, I wear a very same pair myself. I've just recently taken a color test and found out my perception of certain hues is worse than I thought, this is apparently very common amongst men, women on average have better color accuracy,  though I find the skin tone here might look more yellowish due to the yellow in the board and the yellow in the soles of the shoes, I think your white balance here is precise and it's the shoes which I'm so familiar with that indicate that, the Chuck Taylor logo on the inner side of the shoe and the laces are white as they should be, the soles when new are very white at first and then tend to yellow up with wear, walking a lot in grass will do that and even add some green along with the yellow.

Thank you Steve as always for the kind words! Thanks also for noticing that my whites are indeed white. Must be the New Improved Tide laundry detergent :=} I think the shoes, which are mine, could be a bit 'redder'. As I mentioned above, I always struggle with skin tones. Part of my problem is that I'm using a PC and there is a color shift, which I attempt to deal with, when coverting an image for the web on the PC. The Mac doesn't do this it seems from my use of them at school. I've been thinking that I should switch to Mac but Adobe in its infinate need for greed has decided to host photoshop on the cloud and charge a monthly fee... how do you spell M***er F***ers... and I'd have to get a new version on a new machine... O such golden problems we have but a problem none the less. So it goes... By the Bye... Its time for you to be making some new images and posting them it is! Love to see some more of the gal with the glasses that you used as a model in the diner :=}

Yes I use a Mac and have never noticed  any color shifts when saving for the web, though you may get a color shift when uploading here, I leave my photos in pro photo color space and use the single photo uploader with no problem, when I tried the other uploading options I would get a color shift. This new Adobe monthly fee is horrible and this is actually the first I've heard about this, so if I want to upgrade my CS5 to CS6 that means I'll have to pay a monthly fee? Yes I can't wait to start shooting again, I haven't shot a single photo since September! I'm going to a place in the country next week where there are old derelic vintage cars lying around, the members of my photo club that I'm going with have rented a smoke machine so this should be a very interesting outing, and I'll also get to try a new Holga that I will be modifying this week. Sadly the lovely Nataly seems to have lost interest, or the time in posing for the camera, she was my first model shoot, I would love to see what I could do with her now with all that I've learned since then, if given that  privilege of course.
