Sort of a grumpy looking cardinal, but sooo gorgeous too.  I love seeing the bits of life return -- spring and your colors here.  I like our perspective of looking up into the branches. I've been noticing birds here too, thinking of putting bird feeder close to the window of the kitchen.  I know you are a fellow nature- lover just like me.  I hope you are enjoying this season

The Cardinals are such pretty birds and their song is so lovely. I so not see too many where I live, but I hear their song, and I always search for them. My Mother would always let me know when she heard a Cardinal whenever we were together. She also loved them very much. Lovely capture Mari!

This is a wonderful display of a beautiful Cardinal.

I often see them in the trees, but the Florida trees in my yard are so dense that the Cardinals are barely seen in the open. I can hear them sing and watch the branches and cover move about, but it is quite difficult to get a clear shot.
