View large please. This image lost its red rock vibrance when I uploaded

it, but it also looks good as is. A short hike leads to lower emerald pools

falls. The only emerald here is in the dreams of the beholder. Your

comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance for taking your time to visit

and comment. Larry

Viewing larger is the way to go!! Very impressive detail and colour. Very real 3D feel. But I never imagined how much it would impress me until I did view it larger. Wonderful capture Larry!

Mike and Gail,   Thanks for your visits immediately after I posted this image.  I figured out why I lost the luminance in the image and will repost it, so you can view the comparison.  Apparently going from Lightroom, to Photoshop, to desktop in order to upload yields different results than first getting the image from Adobe Bridge. Weird, eh?

I read that Ansel Adams said - to someone who objected to his landscapes that did not include people - that every image has at least two people present - the photographer and the individual who view it.  Best we see our work through others eyes too. So, I appreciate compliments help me to verify how the image looks in others eyes. I have marked your comments as helpful.  Best to you both.  Larry

I often have the same problem with losing luster and as you say luminance when I post something to PN.  I'm still trying to find a solution.  Fortunately, it doesn't happen to all of the images I try to post.  As for this, I like it, but then I saw your other version, which I much prefer.  So I'll comment on that one.
