At the point where tide is going to change and start rising, the soft

waves are just caressing the beach amidst the straded ice

blocks;lighthouse overlooking all from the distance.Thank you for your

Thank you kindly. It was indeed nice on the beach today;wind was down and temperatures were at a confortable -2C....and it will only get better(warmer).

Pardon me, Laurent. I have never been on a beach where there is snow or ice! I somehow find it hard to believe that sea and sand and snow and ice can exist in the same place at the same time. I confess I didn't read your explanation right through, but looking more carefully I see that is a lump of ice. Regards, Adrienne

We are a country of extremes and however nice our beaches can be during the summers, they are totally covered and frozen over during our long winters as you can see if you have time and care to take a peek at my home images a large portion of which are on the snow covered waterfront.Thank you for the interest and the kind observation.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
