Today was sunny, wind was cold (3 c), but the Weather Forecast

promises warmer weather to progressively favour us. Both I and my

Macro Lens are RESTLESS and longing to see the Spring

Perennials peek above the ground. The Lilacs are in bud and I can

hear more birds chirping in the mornings, a sure sign that Spring is

here. Any visits and input are always welcome, many thanks, Gail

The original image was taken in June of 2010. At this time I knew much less about how to use my Canon EF 100mm Macro USM for best image taking. Mike Palermiti has helped me immensely since that time and I rarely use a F Stop over 2.8 anymore. I have included the original image used to make this composition. My F Stop for this image was 6.3, why? I have no idea. I knew even less back then how my Camera worked. Hopefully this Spring and Summer will see me taking much better images!!! (I have always liked this image and have one version in my Dig. Alt. Flowers and Landscape File that had a  slight Water Colour effect applied. I plan to redo this image without any effects in the near future.)
