Whenever I've had a few busy days (mind-busy) I like to work on an

Abstract Image. Perhaps the exercise uses both sides of my brain

and clears out the 'clutter'. I have no idea, though, a pattern seems to

exist. This took awhile, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. (any

visits/comments are always appreciated, Many thanks, Gail)

I feel that you are getting better at developing new patterns. This one has an elegance and classic presence that it can be use for a logo or a movie add! Congratulations you have created a visually attractive abstract. Warm regards.

I share jorge's remark for this image and I won't be surprised if somebody sees this and names this creature something and make a story out of this beautiful creation. Your creativity is tops here, Gail. Congratulations for a wonderful work. Top marks!

Hi Gail,

You have complimented your artistic skills by using your lens at F/2.8 my dear friend.

A marvelous accomplishment .

All the best, Mike

Thank you so much for dropping by and commenting on this composition. I know from experience now, that if I do not have a 'strong' image to begin with, the final results will never be 'clearly seen'. It is your insistence that I try to my best ability to shoot my 100mm f2.8 Macro at 2.8 that has produced the excellent results in the original image, I am attaching a cropped version of the original.

Your encouragement is always an inspiration to do better, sincere thanks, Gail

I find your kind critique very humbling. This support as I so often say is such a source of encouragement. My sincere thanks for taking the time to drop by and share your thoughts.

well, as friendly as a 'fly' can be. I could have made this much brighter, but when I changed my blending mode at one point, I really like the colour that were emphasized. So good to hear from you Jamie!!!

My thanks George for your visit!! I am always glad to see your name on any of my pages!! I have been enjoying your recent images from Venice so much. Last year I watched the 'Tourist' with Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie, I marvelled at much of the scenery around Venice, the insides of some of the homes that they used in the movie. My brother visited there last summer but I doubt that he saw as much as you did! Bravo to you on a wonderful collection of images!!!

Hi Gail,

Thank you for providing the original cropped fly image.

I often focus on the head of my subjects, and I really enjoy this image as a stand alone, too.

A skilled person in post processing can do many interesting presentations with any image, but I always like to start out with the best that I can achieve at the time.

Warmest Regards, Mike
