I find it hard on the street see disconnected things as part of a potential visual story. You've managed to do that in this picture. The people, the bikes and the mannequins seem a part of the same story. A wonderful composition. all the best, ed

Great story!

First, I like the overall nice tone in this b&w image, then the composition so perfect with the mannequins at the right and the couple at the left divided by the bicycles. Excellent, and perfect technically too. The grey tones graduation so silky smooth.

Wow, what a busy scene.  I'm not sure what message you want to convey - a young couple taking a snack-break on a busy commercial street?  That's what I get from the capture.  Perfect in monochrome.

It seems your focus is on the two couples that are 'together'.  One couple is opposite sex, and one couple is same-sex.  Here in the US there is currently much discussion about same-sex marriage.  I see in your photo a message from the Netherlands to the US about same-sex marriage.  The bicycle, which is modified to carry children, brings up a question of parentage and how it should be treated.  Your photo makes me more curious about Dutch attitudes and how your marriage statutes have worked out.
