davidmccracken 2 Posted April 1, 2013 I am a fan of lines and curves. Are you? Feedback appreciated. Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted April 1, 2013 Splendid image. Very intriguing and painted with perfect light. Link to comment
gsphotoguy 3 Posted April 2, 2013 Her curves, and the way you captured them, are wonderful but what really makes this work are the linearity of the blinds and how they offset her body. The backlight and slight spill are also very effective in defining that. This is a wonderful photograph, David, and one that would look terrific on a wall. Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted April 2, 2013 David, The famous photographer Ansel Adams once said that the film negative was like a musical score and the print like a performance of it. I guess, today we could say that the digital file is like the musical score and the digital image its performance. I hope you don't mind but I just had to try "performing" this one.Regards,Jerry Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted April 2, 2013 Andrew, Kind words. I thank you for making them. Mark, This is an image I like myself. I like it for all the reasons you mention. Thanks a lot. Jerry, I am quite sure your comment was intended with the best of intentions but I really do wish you would engage your brain before reposting images. The image I uploaded did provide the model with a certain amount of anonymity. Your working most definitely does not. I cannot delete your comment and you cannot either. (My only option is to remove the photograph which I don't reallt want to do.) Furthermore, you always seem to think your versions of photos are better than the photographers' own versions. Much of the time this is NOT the case. It is most definitely NOT the case here either. While I welcome your comments most of the time. I do NOT welcome this one. Link to comment
morophaenixmau 19 Posted April 2, 2013 Dear David, I agree completely with you on the inopportune work of Jerry. For me, in any case, it's always not a nice thing to remold a shot without an authorization! Ciao, Maurizio. Link to comment
davidmccracken 2 Posted April 3, 2013 Thanks for the comment. I think remoulding shots is OK but only if the brain is engaged. Link to comment
