Please comment on this image from the iconic Zabriskie Point at

Death Valley National Park. I quickly learned that capturing desired

images does not happen easily, if at all, in this expansive park where

light is everything and camera angles and views are close to

unlimited. This park requires many visits to get it right. This may be

the spot for wannabe photographers with their tripods. Thanks for

your comments and critiques. Larry

I think from all the photographers you have chosen the best viewpoint. It is a well balanced composition. The colors are interesting without showing the spectacular patterns we see sometimes from this area. Karl

Hi Larry. I've been looking at pictures of Death Valley National Park and all of them are very good. I especially like this one for its panoramic format, the layers formed by the mountains, the way the sun illuminates the distant hills, textures and of course, men here that serve to give scale to nature.

Regards,

Rosario.

Rosario,   Thanks for your visit and comment.  This spot, Zabriskie Point, is one of the most photographed places at Death Vallley.  if you are going to Death Valley, I would suggest early in the year - January to March - because of the extreme heat.  It's an immense national park that is extremely isolated.  Thanks again for looking at my images.  Larry
