St Augustine Lighthouse

I like this colorful scene.

The lighthouse has an interesting pattern on its structure, too.

As for clarity, I suggest that you try manually touching up the focus because the light house appears

a bit soft, especially toward the top. If you did manually focus, then perhaps the atmospheric ground effects reduced the clarity a bit. This is always a possibility with longer focal length telephoto lens.

I've shot the lighthouse from a distance of 2.2 km (about 1.4 miles) over water and land, which might explain certain issues you've just mentioned.

Hi Sam! With stormy weather the lighthouses are more neeeded for sailors than in other situations...This one has a nice painting...Best regards.
