alfbailey 2 Posted March 30, 2013 What a fantastic compsosition , but oh for just a tiny bit more space at the top! But the zig zag leading line works really well, pulling the viewers eyes to the distant vessels. How did you manage to get this perspective? Where you in a plane? michaellinder 16,611 Posted March 30, 2013 Many thanks for your visiting and your feedback. This photograph was shot from the top deck of the Coral Princess as she was sailing into the harbor at Colon, Panama. Hopefully, this explains the perspective I had.My best always, michael Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted March 30, 2013 As usual, I always agree with Alf. The only suggestion I might add is to move the camera slightly to the left (now he tells me (*_*)) to reduce very slightly the amount of open water on the right side. This, is a personal preference and the image you have here is very attractive in its original format. I hope you enjoyed your cruise. Did this cruise also stop at Aruba? Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted March 31, 2013 I see your point about the camera angle. Sad to say, moving the camera just isn't an option at this time. The ship did stop at Aruba - a lovely island. Some of the shots in this folder are from that location.Gratefully, michael Link to comment
thadley 15 Posted April 1, 2013 Michael - I like the revised version but your original has a cleaner approach. It comes down to tastes. I was in Aruba on 21st march 2013 on Holland America and i thought I saw a Princess cruise already docked. I spent my time at Eagle beach and then went on a party tour at 5 pm. Link to comment
