Please don't criticize the tire....because there is none! I have titled this "untitled" - but titled- image, because there are members that instead of saying anything about the image, are so fixated by a title. I do like titles, but I am fed up with so much nonsense in forums and especially POW forums about titles. Leave them alone! Titles are another expression of the author, who tries to convey something about his/her work. If it helps or somehow contributes to the viewer, fine. If not, then it does not. Period. I think that in forums, and when a critique is requested, one should focus on the IMAGE. What does it say to you? How was it taken? Post processed? What do you imagine? How does it make you feel? Do you like the color or texture? The composition? But focusing on the title.....come on! So here it is. An image with title without a title, with a title for you not to mind about the title.

This is a great shot. I like the depth, the composition and your use of color. It all ads up to a small and silent masterpiece.

and atmosphear. I like the tones and the shadows on the snowy ground and light coming from the right corner adds a lot to the scene.

I completly agree about your thoughts on titles- its nice to have a title from the photographer, because you get a glimps into their point of view or what their thought are about their image, but i think an image, any image, can stand alone with no title just fine, and the interpertation can be given by the viewer by what he is seeing.
