Man With Cigarette

This is a fairly strong portrait in that it has story-telling content, a sense of balance between hand and face, nice open-shade/ skylight 3-D modeling of his features and his eyes emphasized by being down 1/3 from the top (rule of thirds composition).  The crop is a bit tight for my preference and most noticeable where the end of his wrist and the end of his sleeve meet at the edge of the frame to provide two lead-out lines rather than lead-in lines that would happen with a bit more gray sleeve showing to block the flesh line from the frame edge.  Still, an interesting image.
