Hi Sam,

A colorful animal that is not an easy subject,

The sharpness is a bit off but this can be due to several factors :

1] camera steadiness, but the Sigma does have an IS setting. However, "IS" does not always give the best results, either.

2] The squirrel movement , can not be anticipated often

3] The range of the shot , on longer distances requiring greater enlargement, the ground turbulence will effect the results

4] The Sigma 150-500 performs best at F/6.3

5] Focus , especially auto focus, can be compromised by branches .

I like the color tones seen.

Best Regards my friend, Mike

Hi Mike,

thanks very much for your thoughtful critique!

In my experience furry & moving animals are difficult to focus on.

Cheers!

Sam
