You bet he's tired, pounding through all that snow on those little legs!  Although the lack of footprints makes me wonder if he has just been sitting, waiting for you to finish your walk!  Nice picture, Laurent.  Gillie

Thank you for the kind observation. You are right about the wait for that greener season, not only for Caramelle but for me also as I am tired of freezing my fingers on that old camera.

Both she with her short legs and me with my old (older) legs were tired after some time out on the icy beach. There is no visible tracks because the crusted snow is hard enough to support her in most places, but rest assured that when she stops like this, she is pooped out from running all over the place including in the freezing water.Thank you for looking in and for the appreciation.

Great colors and texture. I am always concern for animals living in the snow, how is it that they don't freeze to death? Warm regards.

Thank you for your observation. These little friends are a lot like us humans and dress up accordingly:in the winter, their fur gets thicker and their paws get gradually accustomed to the colder ground as Winter progresses. And,like us,when they get cold even if properly dressed, they come in to warm up.....but they are a lot tougher than us.Caramelle here will not hesitate to jump in the ice water,so I have to make sure she gets dried up when she comes out.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent
