Thanks for viewing/comments! .. Some Osprey are skimmer, they skim the

surface and grab the fish. This one is a diver, he dives in the water to grab the

fish and got all wet. He needs to get some shakes to unload the moisture

weight ..

Thanks Greg & Verena! Most of the time the bird would fly up a bit and shakes while coasting about 2,3 times before circle around to gain altitude. This fish is small but some are rather large and all that excess water not only weight him down but probably also stick the feather together too, I think. I got him a few times before but only when it's against a dark background or good light, the water droplets don not show well

 

Kind of remind me of the dog shakes :-)

Thanks Phil! It's the only shot I got yesterday from my lunch time shooting ... I got too excited and got a bunch of blurry images from shaking too . At 500mm it's ok to shake a bit but at 1000mm (with the 2X TC) there's no room for the shooter to shake.
