Having commented on your other image of Lauren, hopefully you will appreciate my interest in this model.......... a very photogenic young lady.

The Background........ always a pain in the butt..... the negative space here is a distraction.

The Hand............ for me, it appears as an after-thought, somehow it doesn't belong....... personally I would have prefered her face against the pole, which would have stopped me tilting my head to make eye contact.

Odds 'n sods...... highlights in the small of the back - distracting. Additional dress material down cardigan sleeve - distracting.

Your strengths here are the overall lighting which for me highlight the skin tones very well. Your capture of her (Lauren's) eyes is very good and, in contrast to the other image, you have worked well together (IMHO).

Congrats to you both............. well done

Regards

I happen to like the original crop and how her finger nails carry the green color from the background. The rest of the tonality is very similar so the contrast is interesting to me. I also like her pose and expression. I might like to see a bit of tilt correction but that is a personal decision.

Hey Mark, thanks for the feedback ... actually you are right, I had a few shots on this sequence, not sure why all the shots were a little off in terms of straightness.

Dale - The same thing happens to me all the time. I tend to crop a little loose in the camera now so I can correct for the tilt in Aperture.

Thanks Mark, yes ... it's a bit easier said than done for me as I know I am often in trouble with too close a framing in-camera but haven't been able to train myself otherwise just yet ... maybe the viewfinder is telling me something different than what I am seeing too as I find I don't have stuff in the frame that I thought I had LoL
