Guess I could have titled this-The Leaning Lighthouse of Miscou Island- and put out a fable that it is held in this position by the frozen ground.....Thank you for the kind reference to that famous Italian landmark.

Hi Laurent! For me it's normal to see a drunk sailor but not a drunk lighthouse! Very nice scene you have here, well done! Best regards.

Thank you for looking in and for the kind observation. Not sure about the drunk part;it was "leaning" but not wobbly.

Brilliant!!
When seen as a thumbnail it looks like a "stupid" picture taken by an ignorant photographer with no sense of space geometry but when its viewed in full size you can see the playful mood of the creator and his photographic “intelligence”.

Thank you for the so kind observation. Not to everyone's taste the deformations induced by the ultra-wide lense, but I like to use it in an exaggerated way.It works wonders on our lighthouses and churches and I just imagine what it would do to the already leaning Tower of Pizza or on the majestic Eiffel Tower........but that will be for another time.

Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent
