Maybe for lot of people is just an usual same flower but for me is an excellent study you have with all of them, each one is different in a way so as we are,I like the light here and splendid details(small light crystal on petals, especially the two in right)is so beautiful springtime sign, unfortunately in my area they are under ground even now and snow came again even is not so deep. There are an area near me with lot of wild crocus and I think just in end of April I will see them.

my best regards

Gail, thanks - in fact, there is a lot of post process sharpening involved too, but couldn't do that without this lens as well.

Radu,

Thanks for your attention to these series. What I try to do is show the multitude of variations of a single bloom that appear just from different light and angles. These are all there, but we rarely take the time or have the opportunity to observe them. This is not unlike many things in life which, if we were to take the time and look at them in a different light or from a different angle, we might understand and even enjoy them more fully.

You probably won't see this answer, but thanks anyway for the insight.

You have here a fantastic series of crocus, this is for me one of the best images, I like the light, the sharpness and the contrast with the dark background, ciao Giangiorgio
