Thanks Jim! I really like this shot, took a couple hours off work yesterday to get these since I doubted if the baby would perch around more than a day or two (and I found this on Sunday afternoon). I don't have much hope to see this type of scene this afternoon but we'll see :-)

Effort you did for this worthed it,not a shot with two birds seen excellent but an expressive action moment from there life.Large view shows details that with direct eyes maybe can't be seen, nice colors, very good bg result to have a perfect composition, compliments.

Thanks for stopping by and left your thought Radu! I know what you mean about the 'moment' and I think that's what got so many people into action birdshooting since there are so much that the eyes can never see and only can be captured with highspeed shot to freeze the moment.  I am very happy with this shot and it's worth taking 2 hours off from work yesterday to get this, the sky was somewhat cloudy yesterday and it give me this magically defuse light along with the magic moment  in a somewhat cleared surrounding that I could not get today at all. Birdshooting is a very dynamic environment, constantly moving, changing and couple that with lighting condition it's difficult to get a shot that one would be pleased with. So, I am more than happy with this result!  :-)

Thanks Martine! LOL, lots of people say that one has to be patience to shoot bird but I find that to be somewhat true but the real truth is that if one is addicted to birdshooting then it has nothing to do with patience . If you love photography you will shoot, shoot and shoot ..ect. If you love shooting bird then there's no stopping either because it's so much fun. To get good birdshot it takes time and luck, sometimes, luck present itself but one is not ready, does not have the time or not interested enough to do so. As for me, with this shot, I realize the opportunity only present itself 1 or 2 days and I normally only have 1/2 hour to shoot each day which is not enough and I decided to take off 2 hours from work and ... got lucky. The baby hummer now no longer perch around like this to be fed anymore, life move to a different stage for this hummer and I am so glad to froze the moment of 1,2 days ago.
