Rick Bortnick 2,167 Posted March 18, 2013 Brad,I like the image. Good tonality, nice crisp detail. For me though too much sea & sky, distracts from the rigs. A bit of cropping ... horizon still a bit in the center... Link to comment
photographypanoptikon 0 Posted March 19, 2013 I absolutely love this photo. The long-exposure of the waves and the use of black and white gives an unearthly tinge to this photo. The positioning of the oil rigs as lighted sentinels of this bleak environment is well-thought-out. Being a landscape and nature photographer, I never thought that I was say a picture with oil rigs in it was stunningly beautiful. Everything in this photo, all the elements, work perfectly in concert with each other. Bravo! Cory Sine Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted April 4, 2013 The placement of the horizon doesn't bother me at all. It's the feeling of vast emptiness that I like, that and the low angle as if you were actually in the water or just above it when you took this picture. Link to comment
