There are Dig Alterations in this image, contrast is also boosted and

that is not always preferable to many. I have entered this one

under "Abstract" and for some reason, that is where it belongs for me

tonight. A whirlpool of thoughts swirl round and round. At times there

are decisions we MUST make - no room for 'well maybe - not'. It just

has to be done. Yet our feet may be unsteady, perilous ground and a

path up ahead that is a notch up from 'foggy' stares us right in the

face. These decisions do not fall under the category of 'Well my

dear, just take baby steps'! That would suit me just fine because I

have very small feet. Nope, these are VERY BIG STEPS!

Manoeuvering will not be easy. While ANXIETY is a 'tightrope' that

none of us enjoy, alas it is part of LIFE. Each of us face these

circumstances in our own way, in our own time, and unfailingly more

often than we would like to think. (all of a sudden I'm laughing. My

Dad has always worked in Shoe Stores. Being well trained in the

fitting of shoes, as a child he would always make fun of me and tell

me I had 'duck's feet'!!! (wider at the toes) And here I am posting the

image of a Swan's Webbed Foot!!! ) Life is wonderful, while we have

times of Anxiety, we always have LAUGHTER!! Life is Good. (any

visits and comments are always welcome, many thanks, Gail)

I was entering PN to place a St. Patrick image, but I saw this beauty and get involved in your explanation and wisdom. As always I got cough in it. Duck feet, for animals we call in Spanish pata, pies for humans, but it so happens that for female ducks, pata means the same. Pata for female duck and pata for animals foot. The matter is that this is an stricking, eye catching image with an absolute 7 for me. Warm regards my friend.

Thankyou Tamara for your visits and comments! I have to ask Dad. I will mail you the info after I get it form Dad. I just remember buying some shoes in the Oshawa Centre Walking on a Cloud, Ron waited on me, and when I told him my Dad worked in shoes in Oshawa years ago, Ron asked me what his name was. That is where the whole conversation started. He was very nice and gave me a $10.00 discount on my shoes. ;-) Talk soon, Gail

Less is more - the picture not the feet! Lovely detail and texture here, oh to be foot loose and fancy free, perhaps our photography lets us create our own world, best wishes

I was wondering where your narrative was going with this one, but I loved where it ended up! With Laughter of course.

Now imagine the image becoming somewhat animated and dancing to the tune of "Happy Feet"  : - )

During the darkest of days, laughter brings illumination!

So much more than just a photograph!

Very well done Gail!

thankyou Alf. Funny you mentioned 'Happy Feet'. I put it on last week while I was sitting with Abbey for a bit, just to see what she would do, and she didn't really react. I really liked the little wee Penguin who had such a beautiful voice!!! Now I've got swans with these big webbed feet dancing in my head!!!

Hey, Duck ;-)... A well captured and humorously presented image.  It's nice to see it on the Daily Sampling as well... Mike
