Capitol

A great view of the Capitol dome.  I have photographed this many times, and this is one of the best shots I have seen.  Bravo!

You have really accomplished something quite special here. There are so many images of perspectives of domes, but the combination of lighting, colors and perspective in this image makes it just right, separate of the many, conveying a sense of the infinite. Masterfully done. Congratulations.

It's a lovely graphic approach to this subject, finding an interesting geometry to isolate and photograph. It's a pleasing photo. As there is a sense of the infinite here, a receding depth that catches one's eye almost like an M.C. Escher, I think heightening the sense of depth even more could be effective. Allowing a little more shadow in the foreground layers, getting brighter as we move to the center of the dome, could create the sense of a visual payoff that might add some to this photo.
