This is the third in a set of three pictures. Looking for suitable captions,

I found that this set of three pictures depicts a story which is quite

common in life.

Kaato & Kabooter – 1. A pigeon came across three sisters of a family

that was so different.

Kaato & Kabooter – 2. The pigeon chose to live with the lovely squirrel.

They had common concerns for the present and dreams for the future.

Kaato & Kabooter – 3. The reality of personality differences prevailed.

The squirrel got busy with her own pursuits on the sly. Pigeon was after

all a ‘Kabooter’.

In Punjabi language, Kaato is the word for squirrel. This word used in

feminine gender is a metaphor for a smart and clever person. Kabooter

is the Punjabi word for pigeon. Used in masculine gender it is a

metaphor for a simpleton.

The links to other pictures of the set are embedded in the first critique

below.
