Thanks for viewing/comments ! .. 2X TC III continue ...drop the SS to 1/1000

and push f-stop to F10 + a filled 580EX but it did not fire for this one :-)

Superb, in fact this entire series is excellent.  I like this guy's cute little feet :-)...  Mike

Thanks Michael! I know, you always like the little feet :-) ... looking at this shot you can see how shallow the DOF is , 2 feet and only the closer one is sharp but yet the other is already blur at F10 . May be this gal is a bit chubby and wide ... :-) . The single AF point is right at the back of the head, btw.

Nice work again - what a great moment in flight to capture. You can tell the dof is better at f10. I guess with the extender and all, even that brings little in focus. We really enjoy your work.   G+V

Thanks Phil! LOL, ... yes I will try to get some feet from now on :-)

Thanks Greg & Verena!  I just hope the folks who peruse photo.net won't fall over since Hummer season last at least a few more month . So far, it's 2XTC III and now 2X TC III + 1 flash ... and I stll have a lot of flashes left...... aside from extension tubes ...  :-)

Muchas Gracias Jose! I did use flash on this one but since I shoot at fast speed I always wonder if it does anything for the shot at all. Lately, I gave up on using flash while shooting  noon shot like this.
