My German Shepard's Eyes

This was a test of my brand new Canon 50mm f1.8 lens for my Canon

Digital Camera. I love the DOF in it and how about the quality for

$75. If you look closely at the eyes, you can see me taking the

picture. The picture was cropped. The original was a picture of the

entire dog and I just cropped out the eyes. Please critique..thank

you

Heya. This is an ok shot, though I think I'd crop it more closely to the eye, especially as that's the title and focus of the image. I find the mouth too distracting and I don't think that it lends anything much to the pic.

 

You might wanna play around with it a little; not sure that my crop is great either.

Nice lens. The detail it picks up and the sharpness of the lens is quite amazing. Yeah, I can also see your reflection in the eye. Wish I had this lens for my Canon Elan IIe.
