I thought these widely separated and empty benches in a large and equally

empty plaza were a good metaphor for downtown urban life. Your

Hello Stephen: A rather different subject in your work. The idea is great and nicely conveyed. The place is interesting for its grey tonality broken only by the benches, and a collection of straight and curved lines. Nice composition. With utmost respect, and IMHO the trash bin and ashtray take much away from an otherwise more "architectural" POV. I am not fond either of much PS "magic", but in cases like this it might be acceptable. With best regards.

Marco and Daniel, thanks for your comments.  Daniel, I wish I could have avoided the trash can.  I wanted to avoid the grass as much as possible, and perhaps I could have shot straight down the bench.  However, I think I was entering into private property here (off the sidewalk), and I just didn't want to linger to try different compositions.  I just took one and left right away.
