gsphotoguy 2 Posted March 8, 2013 This is a very nicely made silhouette. I like the use of the diagonal as well as the way you cropped the photograph. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted March 8, 2013 Thank you very much my friend, this is an old work, re-processed, but I am not sure about the final result compared with the original. Anyway, thanks again, I'm glad you like it. Link to comment
Elstad 3 Posted March 9, 2013 Though I'll admit I had to go to google to confirm it, I suspected the translation of your perfect title for this marvelous image. It does indeed look like a figure on the bow of an old sailing ship. Marvelous!-r- Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted March 10, 2013 Exactly, that was my intention with the title. Thank you very much for your flattering comment. Link to comment

dgv 1 Posted March 16, 2013 ...And you used the Spanish word as a title for your photo. It is a clever allusion. The Greek word, by the way, is ΠΡΩΡΑ, PRORA in Latin characters. You can see the etymological resemblance. Regards, Dimitris. Link to comment

John Peri 1,003 Posted April 24, 2013 A gorgeous image Carlo, indeed, brings to mind the ornemented bow of a ship, but never done as gracefully as it is here .. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted May 4, 2013 This has a sweeping suggestion of movement, a sensuous curvature in an upward direction and I can almost feel the breath from her mouth. It's suggestive in its tonality, which is a good use of photography in supporting the content with the emotion of the use of the medium. There is elegance and grace here. Link to comment
sideris 0 Posted May 5, 2013 Yes Fred, you're right, here there is the overwhelming grace and elegance of the woman, but I should recognize that my only merit was to put her figure against the light. The idea was born immediately, when I saw the image in the viewfinder, then several shots taken of course, and the difficult work of selection after, because all the captures looks fantastic. What can i say? just to express my admiration for the delicacy of the live lines of a precious human body, those subtle curves, angles, and the strong impression provoked by the unbeatable feminine nature. Thank you very much for your rich comment my friend. Link to comment
