Your pose ad lighting of the model are fine.  However the sharp detail in the background drape (or whatever it is) draws attention of the viewer too much.  Either a plain drape could be used or shallow depth of field (by a large aperture setting) would help throw it out of sharp focus.

Drape?  It is tile, not easy to change for the picture :).  I like it because it gives a sense of place.  Thank you for your comments.

Roberto,

She is a very pretty girl with a nice figure. You have focused well on her eyes. I think she has eye contact with the camera (viewer). The compositional balance is good.

Besides the busy background I see a couple other things I would address. Because it causes the horizontal lines in the background to slant, I wouldn't shoot this at an angle. Either straight on to the background or much more from the side would be better.

Her face and arm on the left (her right) appears a tad over warm compared to much of the other areas in the picture. The lighting is very harsh and you have lost quite a bit of detail in her white shirt. Notice how the white in her left eye, the cord in her neck and the strip of hair in the shadowed area on the right side of her neck really stands out. The same is true of the specular highlight on her upper lip.  I'm not sure the deep shadows work very well in this image.

I wonder what has caused the lighted halo around her head on the background? The glass (candleholder?) cutting into the right side of her head could be moved over a bit.

If you moved your camera position up a tad or had her tilt her head down a little you wouldn't be shooting up her nose.

This is an excellent pose for a boxer between rounds or someone sitting on a toilet, but I don't thing it helps to make a female look very feminine or graceful. Shooting a person straight on usually makes them appear overly wide or larger than normal. This is something most girls would want to avoid. I don't know how to comment on her "winged" arms and spread legs.

"Heals" isn't a very descriptive title since you really have to look to see that she is actually wearing heals, but titles of images don't always have to go along with the image or be overtly meaningful.

Nice shot,

Mark
