lintrathen 15 Posted July 3, 2013 hard to believe that this image has had 952 views, without a single comment? What do I see that others don't? Probably nothing, but possibly I can make a few suggestion that could make it easier for others to comment......? This image has no exif data or camera/lens detail attached to it which makes it difficult for any of us to comment with any form of confidence. You could have provided us with a short write up on what you were trying to achieve and what lighting/backdrop you were using. My first impression of this image is that it is out of focus...... or very grainy. The back lighting accentuates the body hair down her arm which draws my eye away from the full image. The model is a pretty young girl with whom you could have done so much better. Hopefully this is not the best image of your shoot, and if you can get her back again, practice some more.Best regards Link to comment
JohnWebster 3 Posted July 3, 2013 At the time of capture a 4x5 aspect would provide more room so her left hand could be fully seen in the composition. Nice lighting and transition from highlight side to shadow side of her face. Link to comment
rquesada 0 Posted July 3, 2013 First, thank you for your comment. What information would you like to know for you to comment with confidence? It was taken with a 55mm focal length, f9.0 1/100seg ISO 100. Studio flashes, one right behind the model to purposely light the hairThe image has a soft focus filter for smoother skin. This was not the best picture of the shoot, as a matter of fact with some images of this same shoot as her portofilo, she was hired as a model for L'Oreal France, where she worked for some time :).I do practice quite a lot, but of course not as much as one would like, since photography is just a hobby.Regards, Link to comment
rquesada 0 Posted July 3, 2013 Thank you for your comment. I am not sure why, but I cropped the hand out on this image, since the model is centered in the original RAW file, and both hands are complete.I had to studio lights at 45 degrees each, for the main and fill lights on this image. Besides the obvious back light.Regards, Link to comment
