The frozen dunes show some scale type erosion from the brisk wind

hitting the beach.Thank you for commenting-Laurent

Laurent,  Really interesting image, I like your composition and POV with this image, really gives a good visual of this frozen sand.  Best Regards,  Sherry

It's the angle that makes the picture and reveals the details in the sand. Really a good composition with the fringes of distant forest and beach grass, and the weak and watery sun shining so weakly that he doesn't even cast a shadow.. Nature is quite the sculptor, isn't she?.

This is on a high and fairly steep side of the dune so I could get this shot looking upwards to highlight the cavities performed by the wind vacuuming out the loose sand.Thank you for viewing and appreciating.

Meilleures salutations-Laurent

Thank you so much for the kind narrative on this shot.It is fairly unusual to find these dunes without their heavy snow cover at this time of the year;makes for good photo matter but a lot of the dunes will have shifted as a result.

Merci et meilleures salutations-Laurent
