vancouverphotographer 0 Posted March 5, 2013 Glad these items got saved ... they provided a great shot - I like the clown and the photograph within a photograph. It'd be interesting if you can pry that lens out and try it on a DSLR. Link to comment

mike_palermiti 0 Posted March 5, 2013 My dear friend Pierre ,This fine image defines one of many values that photography brings to us all, the preservation of memories over time. The 75mm F/3.5 camera lens interests me the most, but I do have an appreciate of the figurines shown in the scene as well. Betsy and I have many items like this that we enjoy sharing with our friends that visit. An excellent presentation.Best Regards, Uncle Mike Link to comment

llgarcia 1 Posted March 6, 2013 Never throw away old things, so they say. And this an example of home precious still these things could be. Nicely collected, arranged and presented these heirloom items. Very nice photograph, Pierre. Regards! Link to comment
sagnikroy 0 Posted March 6, 2013 Beautiful shot of items of the past, tastefully presented in sepia. They must be associated with lots of sweet memories. The doll at the rear with piercing eyes is what attracts me the most. Sincere regards,Sagnik Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 258 Posted March 6, 2013 And for your comments which happen to be initiated with same feelings about this picture which again shows it's got its goal! Thank you very much!PDE Link to comment
poag 0 Posted March 7, 2013 The first thing that attracts attention is the old look of the image. But the old objects most of them are dolls. I don´t know if the chosen characters have a special meaning for you. Santa Claus, rusian dolls, a clown inside and outside of a photo. The big doll seems as a black slave. What do you means with this image? Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 258 Posted March 7, 2013 Thank you Ruud, Ramon and Vlad! Ramon, not my every picture has to have a hidden meaning or maybe this is just the one with the hidden meaning, it's a picture of the contents on the top of the buffet, decorations, vase with flowers, porcelain figurines and I put there my first present to my girlfriend (now my wife), the black doll and the camera which never worked! All that tells a story of my home in a way and may be only understood as a moody composition! PDE Link to comment

morophaenixmau 0 Posted March 7, 2013 Un po' di tutto e ogni cosa ha la sua storia che non conosciamo ma è bello fantasticare e...immmaginare! Grazie Pierre. Link to comment
jorge_fernandez3 0 Posted March 8, 2013 Everything has a meaning, intentionally or not the meaning is what you want to make of it...the meaning I guess is your inner child having fun and keeping bussy. To be a photographer is to have infinite amount of possibilities to all you see. Warm regards my friend. Link to comment
