Tagaytay, Philippines. The two birds captured in mid-flight was pure

coincidence, but adds perspective to the size of the volcano. By the

way, the cone in the center of the picture is just the most active

part of the crater. The crater itself is the lake surrounding the cone

island, including the mountain in the distance (as part of the larger

crater wall).

Nice scene, but the haze really dulls the image. It's easily improved with an image editor by adjusting the levels to increase the contrast. Here's an example of what I mean.

Isn't photography fascinating! Same scene and two completely opposite interpretations. And the truth is that  like both. If you put a gun (favorite topic these days) to my head and told me to choose one, I would probably go with the original.
