Thanks for viewing/comments! Last year I tried to improve the image quality

by using extension tubes to get closer than the minimum focusing distance

but this year I think the solution is with my new found toy - The 2X Series III

. It extend the focal length and also allow me to get closer and I think it's a

good solution for getting good details with minimal crop also.
