Beautiful color work Paul. I'm just now trying to improve my street color so this one is timely.  7

Stephanie, I had to shoot quickly. I noticed him beginning the climb across the street. On first glance I only saw a silhouette on the LCD, but when returning to the States and viewing on the computer screen I found I was able to pull this out of the capture. I do have a B&W version, but think this is better (unusual for me). I walked across the street to see where he went, but he had vanished into the darkness up the stairs.

Michael, a friend pointed out that the cane was more likely a cane for feeling your way along (blind) rather than for support of weight. Not sure that would have changed my comment or the presentation though.

I have attached the B&W version for fun.

The color version for me please. I also see lots of textures in the paint, the wood, the worn steps.  I like the feeling of worn, like age or time passing yet bright with the color of life that the color of the color version adds to the whole.  If I said that right.

If the man is blind, he is missing out on the beautiful colors around him.  It makes you wonder what we might see if only we open our eyes.
