Hi Joscelyn- Thanks for visiting & leaving your comments. Taking a second look must agree it is too blue so will tone it down a bit. At this time of the morning the blue sky is the only source of light so everything will have a touch of blue, the sun is still below the horizon.. I do appreciate your comments, thanks .Best Regards-Ross

I do love to see stark branches against a colourful sky like this, it really does epitomise winter.  The position of the tree is probably a bit too central for my taste.  A few steps to the right may have cure d that, but of course the photographer is always the best person to judge.

The contrasting textures and colours of the snow and marsh grasses look good also.

Nice work Ross!

Best Regards

Thanks for visiting & your comments. It was a real cold morning & shot without a tripod & it sure shows, have returned a couple of times but the sky was a bland I always think of photography like fishing, some days you score some nice images & other days ,zilch. Especially after rising at 5am, dressing warmly driving half an hour, then standing around waiting & all you get is grey skies, however, if nature smiles upon us & we get some nice images well then, who care about the cold & the waiting, everything comes up smelling like roses I posted another image just now with the grasses completely unsharp, but somehow, the image appeals to me.I would appreciate your opinion. -Checked the features of your new camera & believe you have your money's worth by a long shot.Best Regards-Ross
