HI Sam,

Another A++ wild life capture my friend.

My Florida Birds book indicates that this is a Red -Shouldered Hawk. The white feather markings to the right side of the brownish feathers appear to be the same.

Hi Mike,

the terrible & secret truth (don't tell anybody!) is that I had to shoot this image through the rather dirty window pane of our dining room, from where I watched this bird suddenly coming into view & sitting down.

Had I run outside, the bird, as birds usually tend to do, would have flown away. 

Photos might not depict what they seem to present....
