This caught my eye as I had tried a similar shot a few months ago but didn't get anything nearly this special. Like you, I saw the appeal of birds on the wire, but I didn't see the minimalist possibilities as you have. I like this photo. Mine had too many birds, yours has just the right amount. Mine was color and all in focus, and subsequently completely uninteresting. You saw the monochrome possibility and brought the focus on one bird and created something quite interesting! Congratulations!

Actually, I haven't converted this one to B&W :) It was a foggy day, and this was shot somehow backlit, hence the all-black silhouettes :) The blur is caused by the Lensbaby lens.
