A little bit of fence!

Lovely winter capture Laurent. The deep blue sky and white snow compliment each other so well. the fence line and grasses in the foreground are an added bonus.

Thank you again for you kind comment.The relatively low snowfall this year has left a lot of grassy spots normally buried....to the delight of those of us looking for a little bit of color in our too long white period.

I like both the diagonal orientation and the overall balance of this composition. The fence bisects the picture plane beautifully. The dark strip of woods, anchors it on the left and is balanced by the brightness of the snow in the lower right. The fence and the winter grass mediate between the two. Very nice color and depth to the sky, too.
