You know it,  B/W is often  favorite by lovers of photography but, sometimes, color is…obligatory, particularly when we have a necklace of red pearls. What do you think about my idea?...Ciaomau!

La maggior parte bellissima modella, posa più adatto (con il dito in bocca, bella bocca, a non trascurare questo fatto), bei colori e colore di sfondo adatto che enfatizza i colori che sono importanti, i colori del modello! Eccellente ritratto mio caro amico!

Colour of BW? - depends what story you want to say....

In this case you wanted to tell the story about a beautiful red necklace.

If BW it could be the story how the nice necklace emphasis the nice, beautiful, gentle body.

In any case, this is the beatuiful portrait of which you are the master!!!!

And, yes, the necklace is the nice one...

All the best!!!!

Hi,

what a beautiful woman - consider yourself lucky :)

As for the photo itself: I have some mixed feelings about it. There are two things I would like to comment on: the lighting and the breast :) Let's start with the breast; I guess that the model's left arm is moved back and it takes away from the "roundness" of the breast. Had it been more round it would interplay better with the shape of a pearl. Next, I kind of disagree with the light employed in this shot. I believe that more harsh backlight would highlight the skin better and thus make it more akin the the way pearls look. This would make for such nice photographic subject - skin and pearls. Two completely different surfaces yet with lighting and angle could be brought closer together.

But, these are just my thoughts :)

I browsed through your gallery and I like your work so keep it up!

Best regards

G'day Maurizio,
You have a wonderful portfolio all throughout, and of course your portraits stand out. This one is quite beautiful, the matching of the red pearls with her red lips, the lateral profile and her hair slightly covering her eyes leaves me both wondering what they are like, but more importanly, it leaves me slightly unsettled. Although I like it, I wonder at the same time if this was the best option. In the end the photo is intriguing, which makes it a good one. Her position on the right side of the frame, leaving an empty monochromatic space on the other side is also quite appealing. It feels as if I want to be able to move into that space to face her full frontal, thus revealing her 'other side'. This photo looks actually quite simple and I am guessing you are not using a terribly expensive lighting equipment?, which if true would mean you are achieving quite a lot with a basic equipment, revealing your excellent knowledge of the techniques and artistry required for good portraiting. It would be a good example for all those 'portraiture wanna be's' out there. Good stuff. Best regards, Alfredo Chirinos

I think you are quite correct. This image is enhanced by the colours and the warm skin tones. Nice work!
