Quite a photograph, Pnina. You know what struck me? They're all facing the same way. You would think there would be one non-conformist in the group but except for the two flyers, they're all looking to the left. A shot like this must absolutely be viewed as large as possible. It just loses all its power when viewed small.

Thanks! this was fast...Please look at N6, each time you look ,and click, there is another scene... we are traveling with the vehicle, so 30.000 is a nice variety..;-)) I think that each of them has to be  seen large, you are right. Thanks again.

What a great moment.  I like how you the heads of the birds stand out even in the back row. I feel really lucky whenever  I come on something in the wild like this. It's as if you're being let in on something in their world. We should be grateful . At any rate, this one is a real beauty.

Reminds me of Wasaga Beach (about 40 km from my home) at the peak of summer.  I'm not a sun worshiper and I don't like crowded places but the thought of warmer weather has great appeal to me at this time of year.  Jack is right about the direction they are facing.  Could it be that the prevailing winds are from the left and that would be the direction they'd head when taking flight?  Interesting series in any case.  The birds already in flight and the reflection of the masses in the water are all icing on the cake.  Always a treat to view your latest.  Best, LM.

I wrote you at your page.. but I don't think it is the wind, as we were traveling in a car all over the place, so we have seen many directions( 30.000 of  them, needs somes space.. stay tuned I have some non-conformists for Jack and for you...;-))
