Cool model Mark... I like!

I think to call the model cool does not quite explore the fullness of what you have captured here. The simple sentence above lacks in the dignified response that such a fine composition deserves. I actually think that you have delved into multiple layers and moods within the same photographs with so many representative perspectives that the viewer is almost stimulated to be left bereft of ideas at first. The model is a work of art in herself eventhough you have defined her as not a typical model. I think your lighting highlights this even further and there is an abject rawness that adds a homely feel to the otherwise staged composition. This is a very fine work and worthy of further exploration within the theme.

I am looking for more tattooed models to photograph myself. I do like her pose. I like the fact that you have captured her attitude and not just her skin. A fine shot.

Starvy - Thank you for the wonderful comment! "Not a Model" is the name on her Model Mayhem profile. In addition to being a wonderful model she is a talented photographer. We have worked together since, including her photographing me, and will again.

David - Thank you, also! Many photographers shy away from heavily tattooed models, which it too bad. The body art adds interesting elements as well as challenges. I hope you find some additional ones to work with. I'd like to see your interpretation. A mix of women makes this so much more interesting.
