michaellinder 16,611 Posted February 14, 2013 Letchworth is part of the New York state park system, located about one hour east of Buffalo. Thanks for viewing. Comments welcome. Link to comment
gregf 0 Posted February 15, 2013 Georgeous shot. I love the snow and mist. One suggestion though, you could cut out on the water's reflection with a CPL. Link to comment

michaellinder 16,611 Posted February 15, 2013 Gregory: Several months ago, my CPL just sort of disintegrated. I need to buy a replacement. Thanks very much for your kind words. Link to comment
Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted February 16, 2013 Michael, This is a wonderful image. I like the vertical orientation and the soft mood created by the blueish pastel colors. Also the detail combines with the fog or mist to create a most artistic piece. What is the trestle bridge in the background? It doesn't bother me because it blends into the image so well. You are the best judge on whether it enhances or detracts from the image. Excellent image. Larry Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted February 16, 2013 The trestle to which you refer is part of a railroad portage bridge. You may want to take a look at the following article in Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Letchworth_State_Park.I am grateful for your interest in this photograph and for your very kind words. My best, michael Link to comment

margatt 9 Posted February 16, 2013 One of the most creative and unique shots I've seen of this landmark in the winter. Top marks to you for eye + capturing it. Link to comment
JeffBryce 0 Posted February 17, 2013 I have been here in summer. The lighting was harsh then and so it was tough to photograph. This looks so much better in winter. Thanks for posting this. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 5 Posted June 2, 2013 I've just noticed this park more lately Michael, and it is good to see the winter view of it. (I remember commenting on other images of yours here, earlier on in the year). We go to Buffalo at least once in the summer and I never knew this beautiful place existed.!!! Beautiful capture on a cold day! Link to comment
